Dr.  Roher is passionate about dentistry, excellence in dentistry and continuing education. In addition to her patients, what Dr. Roher loves most about dentistry is applying her dental medicine training with the art of dentistry for achieving optimum oral health. 

Born in Durban, South Africa, Dr. Roher moved with her family to New York as a young child. In 1989, her family relocated to Athens, GA, where she later graduated with honors from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French followed by earning her Doctorate in Dental Medicine(D.M.D.) from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Dr. Rother is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Each year, in order to maintain the most up-to-date, high-quality dental training possible, Dr. Roher participates in several professional organizations and extensive continuing education programs. She applies this extensive training and the latest dental techniques to her dental practice. Dr. Roher has earned her Fellowship status through the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). The Fellowship award is one of the highest awards that a dentist can receive. The FAGD is awarded to distinguished dentists who seek to provide the highest quality dental care by remaining current in their profession. Dr. Roher has also successfully completed the highest level of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), Mastery Program. As a Qualified Dentist of the AADSM,  Dr. Roher has the expertise to treat patients with sleep breathing disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea and snoring with dental appliance therapy.

Dr. Roher enjoys the charm of life in Savannah with her husband Matt, and her children, Emily and Matthew.
